Stroyproekt participates in the 5th International Forum “Transport of Siberia”

The 5th International Forum “Transport of Siberia” started in Novosibirsk on 25 May 2016. The participants were greeted by N. Rogozhkin, Representative of the Russian President in Siberian Federal Region, V. Okulov, Russian Deputy Minister of Transport, V. Gorodetsky, Governor of Novosibirsk Region, A. Shimkiv, Chairman of the Regional Assembly, and A. Lokot, Mayor of Novosibirsk.   
 
An important part of the forum is the TransSiberia specialised transport industry and logistics exhibition. Stroyproekt presented a large innovative project “Bridge crossing over the Ob River at Ippodromskaya Street in Novosibirsk” (the Central Bridge Project). The Central Bridge Project is one of the largest PPP projects being implemented in Russia. Implementation of PPP projects is particularly important for optimisation of the federal budget. Moreover, PPP is a mechanism of a long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation between the public and private sectors that allows attracting private investment and improving the quality of services.  
Over the years, the forum has become a unique platform for sharing experiences and good practice in the field of transport development. The extensive programme suggests new effective strategies and development prospects as well as new business opportunities.   
Siberia has great potential for transit traffic. Such events as industry forums and conferences are essential to solve the existing transport problems and set new development paths, and professional discussions help to find comprehensive inter-regional solutions that enable an effective implementation of projects.
