The first dedicated international exhibition is held immediately in advance of Road Industry Day, and is supported by Russian Ministry of Transport and Federal Road Agency. As one of the road industry leading companies, Stroyproject has always been an active participant of industry exhibitions. Russian Minister of Transport Eugeniy Ditrikh, Assistant to President Igor Levitin, Head of Federal Road Agency Andrey Kostyuk and Tatarstan’s President Rustam Minnikhanov, and other public officers attended the company’s exhibition stand. Aleksei Zhurbin, General Director of Institute Stroyproekt, told the visitors about implementation of BIM technologies in large transport infrastructure projects. Mr. Zhurbin also presented flagship projects by Stroyproekt Engineering Group; some of them have been developed with the use of BIM technology. BIM provides project teams with a chance of collaboration, which involves works of various groups of specialists and ensures proper data exchange.

As Mr. Zhurbin states, the Group specialists have been actively adopting information modelling in design. BIM model of Western By-pass of Krasnodar, Express Highway with a new bridge over the Neva aligned with Fayansovaya and Zolnaya streets, the area planning design in St. Petersburg, information model with the results of pre-commissioning survey of the Betankur Bridge (St. Petersburg) are just some examples of innovative BIM projects.
