New Project: Railway Line Elegest-Kyzyl-Kuragino

Stroyproekt won the tender for design, survey and area planning works for the project of Elegest - Kyzyl - Kuragino railway line (the Republic of Tuva, Eastern Siberia.

The length of the designed single-track railway line is 410 km. The project involves construction of 8 tunnels with the total length of 11 km, and 127 bridges totally 16 km long. The expected freight traffic is 15 million tons per year.
Elegest-Kyzyl-Kuragino railway is implemented under the thirty-year PPP agreement. The Grantor is the Federal Railroad Agency Roszheldor, and the Concessionaire is a special project vehicle TEPK Kyzyl - Kuragino. The new transport corridor will boost further development of Eastern Siberia.
